Garden Pavilion Design

The plan below shows the design of the Garden Pavilion that is being constructed adjacent to the Pattern Garden.  This structure will be located at the western terminus of the Pleached Hornbeam Walk and will provide a shelter where visitors can gather.  Inside the Garden Pavilion will be a map of the Garden, as well as a calendar of events.  Presently, as of 21 August July 2008, the brick columns and footwall are completed, the wood outer finish is constructed and installed, and we are awaiting installation of the metal the roof.

This structure was designed by Mr. Perry Harrison, Jr., Landscape Architect, The Hayter Firm, Pinehurst, North Carolina.
