Crowds started arriving at 3:45, and were assisted with check-in by great volunteers, Lesley & Ed Saner, and Sylvia Golden (not pictured).

Walter Byrd, another treasured volunteer, helps people register for the drawings.

Over 300 people attended the event.

Eveyone got a chance to enjoy the delicious food & beverages.

Joyce Fish, Volunteer Coordinator, and Susan Wood, Executive Director, of High Point Habitat for Humanity came to share the excitement! (PJCBG has been pleased to donate plants to their new homes.)

Robert Hayter, The Hayter Firm, (with his back to the picture) and Chip Callaway, Callaway Associates, chat before the program begins. Both The Hayter Firm and Callaway Associates have been very valuable contributors in the design and development of the Garden.

Several of the staff at Piedmont Carolina Nursery took time out to attend the party. Piedmont Carolina Nursery, originally started by Paul Ciener and now owned by Mark Peters & Chip Callaway, has been very involved in the design & construction of the Garden, most recently with the beautiful work on the Pattern Garden.

Music was provided by The Buttercup Blues Band.
