Work continues on the front gate. The brick work on the horticulture center is completed. The porch on the back of the visitor center is taking shape. -

The Brick work has been completed on the Visitor Center building. Roof sheeting and paper is attached to the Horticulture Center building. Inside the Visitor Center building the walls are being framed out. -

Brick work continues on the visitor center building. The metal roof will soon be installed. The metal roof is being installed. The interior of the visitor center building starts to take shape. Interior ceiling trusses are installed inside the visitor center building. -

Cupola gets its roof. Windows continue to be installed on visitor center building. Brick laying commences. The Cupola gets placed on top of the visitor center building. -

Roof gables are constructed. Roof sheeting and paper is attached. Inner spaces of visitor center begin to take shape. -

Visitor center exterior walls are completed. Concrete floor is poured for the main level floor area that does not have basement space underneath. Roof trusses are installed. Main sewer line is dug. -

Main level footprint is extended and erection of second level walls commences. Second level walls are finished and cupola is delivered to Garden site. -

Main level floor / basement level ceiling is poured, main level walls begin to be erected. -

Basement walls are waterproofed, doorways are cut out, tunnel connecting visitor center basement and horticulture basement is completed, and electrical conduit and gravel base is laid in. Basement floor is poured, steel trusses for basement ceiling are erected. -

Insulated concrete form walls for the basement underneath the visitor center are erected and filled with concrete. Concrete is also poured for the footings of the horticulture center basement. -

Landmark Builders commences construction by marking footprint for basement dig. Baker Construction commences digging of basement. Trenches for footings for basement walls are dug and stocked with rebar. Loflin Concrete delivers concrete and trenches are filled, forming footings.
